Compared to many Councils, Wakefield has a small team of about 55 full-time equivalent employees, with the majority based in the field, and a mix of skills, experience and knowledge to deliver a range of services to our community.

We have three senior leaders who report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and are responsible for managing distinct functions of Council, while working together seeking to create a culture of service excellence.

Comments

Responsibilities include maintaining caravan parks, cemeteries, civil engineering, roadside vegetation, waste management, weed control and infrastructure i.e. bridges, footpaths, parks, roads and stormwater damage.
