Have a chat with the Ministers in Balaklava, April 4
Community members will have their chance to speak directly with Premier Jay Weatherill and Cabinet Ministers during their ‘Country Cabinet’ visit to the Mid North in early April.
Premier Jay Weatherill and Cabinet Ministers are visiting Balaklava and Clare in early April as part of the State Government ‘Country Cabinet’ initiative, and members of the public are encouraged to voice their opinions on a topic of their choice.
Mayor Rodney Reid said, “The Country Cabinet initiative is truly fantastic, it provides an opportunity for country residents to be heard, feel a sense of inclusion, and for the Ministers to connect with regional communities.”
Country Cabinet will host an afternoon tea from 2pm-3pm on Tuesday 4 April at the Balaklava Racing Club. Furthermore, a Community BBQ & Public Form will be hosted at the Clare Town Hall on Monday 3 April from 5.30pm-6.30pm.
Country Cabinet is a State Government initiative with an aim for the Premier and Cabinet Ministers to visit three regions per year until 2017.
